Agriflyte was founded by a University of Oklahoma student who saw a simple problem: the industries that build Oklahoma were making critical decisions with incomplete information. Site managers walking muddy lots, developers relying on outdated surveys, project managers without a clear picture of progress. We built Agriflyte to change that.

    Certified pilots only

    Drones are aircraft. Every Agriflyte flight is commanded by an FAA Part 107 certificated remote pilot — not a hobbyist with a controller.

    Airspace authorization

    Controlled airspace is cleared through LAANC before wheels-up. If a flight needs a waiver, we file it and wait for it.

    Pre-flight risk assessment

    Weather, obstructions, crew locations and overflight paths are documented for every mission, on every site.

    Active job site discipline

    We coordinate with your superintendent, stay clear of crews and equipment, and follow site PPE and access rules without exception.

What area does Agriflyte serve?
Agriflyte is based in Norman, Oklahoma and serves the greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area, including Oklahoma City, Moore, Edmond, Yukon, Mustang, Midwest City, Del City, Newcastle, Noble, Purcell, Blanchard, El Reno, Choctaw and Shawnee. Sites farther out in Cleveland, Oklahoma, Canadian and McClain counties are flown regularly.
Is Agriflyte licensed to fly drones commercially?
Yes. Agriflyte operates under FAA Part 107, the federal rule for commercial small unmanned aircraft, and every flight is commanded by a certificated remote pilot. Flights in controlled airspace are authorized through LAANC before takeoff, and operations requiring a waiver are not flown until the waiver is granted.
Why can’t anyone just buy a drone and fly it over a job site?
Drones are aircraft and commercial flights are regulated. A pilot must hold an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate, and most of the Oklahoma City metro sits under controlled airspace around Will Rogers World, Tinker Air Force Base, Wiley Post and Max Westheimer, where authorization is required before takeoff.
How much does drone mapping cost in Oklahoma?
Agriflyte quotes each project flat, based on acreage, the deliverables you need and how often the site is flown. Send a parcel or address with what you need to see and you will usually have a flight plan, a deliverable list and a firm price the same day.
How fast can Agriflyte get data back to us?
Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours from capture for maps, models and volume reports, and three business days for graded commercial photography and edited video. Rush turnaround is available when a deadline or a dispute requires it.
What drone equipment does Agriflyte fly?
Agriflyte flies professional-grade DJI airframes with up to 48 MP stills and 5.1K video, plus a multispectral sensor capturing red, green, red-edge and near-infrared bands for agricultural work. Mapping missions use RTK positioning and ground control points for survey-referenced accuracy.
